Too bad the weather is still cold! I can’t wait to wear them!
So, last week I started at my new job as a Co-worker at Ikea (on the Home Decoration department - where you can find frames, pictures, candles, plants, pots & more). I was so afraid I was going to mess up, but I did fine!. Fine, not great. Because - guess what? - I dropped (!!) a box of plates (for candles) SO embarrassing!!! But luckily just one of my colleagues saw it and she said it was okay. Phew. Crisis averted! Anyway, if that didn’t happen my first day would’ve been great ;P
But aside from that, everything went great :) I met so many people that day!! They’re all very nice, which is great! And there’s SO much to take in & even more to learn about Ikea and especially “my” department, but I love to learn more :) It’s not like I want to work at Ikea for the rest of my life, but I like to do the best job I can, so I try to learn as much as I can. I’m glad I don’t have to lift heavy boxes and stuff anymore, like I did at the Makro! But it’s exhausting anyway, lol. Well, I guess that’s because I did practially nothing for 2 months, haha! On tuesday I worked from 1PM-10PM and the next day from 8AM-5PM. Man, was I tired after standing so many hours with barely any sitting-time!! Well, I guess I’ll get used to it :)
Oh, yeah. My birthday was last friday. I can’t believe I’m 19 already!
